Bay Area Professional Birth Photography Slideshow :: safe for all ages

I think this photography is going to be a new favorite of mine. I’m amazed at how much actually transpires during a stay in the labor and delivery room. But even more amazed at how we all seem to recall so little of it. It’s my hope that sessions like these will become as important as wedding photography. To me they are very similar. They are fast paced, full of emotion, and the details are quickly forgotten.

I was fortunate enough to have a very loving couple for my first birth session. They made my job very easy… not to mention the mama was in labor for a very short time and I was in and out of the hospital in just under 6 hours. Thank you to the S family for inviting me in to share this special day. :)

The slideshow has this picture in black and white, but the color version is one of my favorites, so naturally I have to post it, right? :)

Your comments are always welcome and much appreciated.

xoxo

Kelly Decker - Jennifer – INCREDIBLE! I just totally relived my three babies, complete with chills of happiness in the calm epidural-filled moments before the pushing, chills of horror thinking about the pushing, and that amazing moment when you see your baby. And I just love your touch of humor in the right places – I Dream of Jeannie on TV, the “no cell phone” sign. Only slight change I would make is changing “The End” to “The Beginning!” :) Fabulous work – so glad the family agreed to share this.
